Collection: Lash extensions accessories

Every Wispy Kiki accessory came out of the everyday difficulties of lash extensions. I'm sharing what genuinely made my work easier and sped up preparing a client for a clean, safe set. I chose these accessories so I could reach for them knowing the result would be repeatable. Below, each one and the problem it solves.

It replaces under-eye pads, which peel off when your client moves her face or starts tearing up. I stick two pieces on the lower lashes and use the same tape to lift the upper rows, so the bottom row is visible during isolation. The pink color creates a background that makes the natural lash easier to spot. On Pro Grip Tape you can easily draw out your lash map. For lifting the skin of the eyelid, the Lifting Lash Tapes work better.

They solve three problems at once:

• They don't tear off the eyelid during the treatment, so you're not constantly fixing them
• They don't hurt on removal, which sensitive clients really appreciate
• They don't pull out brow hairs, because they have a glue-free zone exactly where the brows sit

The tapes work brilliantly when your client has oily skin or arrives in full makeup. They hold firmly enough that they don't need adjusting halfway through the set. On removal they come away gradually and gently, without pulling out brow hairs.

The most common flaw of cheap applicators is a head that's too plastic and droops while you're cleaning the lashes.

Our tip is permanently bonded to a thick handle, and the head itself has more fibers, so it absorbs more product and actually cleans the lashes properly. The soft tip glides gently over your client's eye, where a cheap applicator causes irritation with its rough surface.

A thicker handle supports a confident grip during precise work at the client's eye. Packed in an aesthetic screw-top container, which lifts the look of your lash cart.

Our spoolies are made of silicone, so they pass more easily between extensions and make brushing through them easier. The silicone surface makes it harder for dust and dirt to cling, so it works even when your client simply throws it into her bag and uses it in an emergency.

The Ultimate Lash Holder glass tile is an absolute must-have for every lash artist. Plastic holders look cheap, get dirty fast and discolor from glue and from the client's makeup transferred on the artist's hand. Ours stays clean for a long time - even heavier marks come off easily. The material is perfectly suited to disinfection, and its solid build keeps it stable on the surface during application.

The main problem with regular cotton pads in lash styling is the white marks they leave on a finished set. Our wipes don't shed fibers and don't tangle between the lashes.

With clients whose eyes water, you can dab the eye area dry without breaking your working rhythm.

1. I start with a thorough cleanse of the client's lashes using the applicators
2. I assess how much excess skin there is on the client's eyelid and lift it with the Lifting Lash Tapes
3. I apply two longer pieces of Pro Grip Tape at the lower lashes
4. I add one longer piece of Pro Grip Tape at the upper lashes to expose the bottom row
5. I place the lash strips on the holder and start working

During the application: I brush through the lashes with the spoolies and, when needed, dab away the client's tears with lint-free wipes

Some of my clients have said they'd happily pose with a sign saying "Pro Grip Tape and Lifting Lash Tapes saved my life". People with very sensitive skin can't stand having most tapes removed and often cry out in pain. Under-eye pads, on the other hand, irritate them and press uncomfortably during the application.
